Proposed Rules for the Permit System at Great Sacandaga Lake: As many of you are aware, the Regulating District operates the GSL Access Permit System pursuant to Rules and Regulations adopted in 1992. Recently, the Regulating District has worked with the Governor’s Office of Regulatory Reform, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and groups of concerned citizens to update those rules. The proposed rules are presently under review by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
