REGULATING DISTRICT SETS DATE FOR FOURTH PUBLIC MEETING FOR PERMIT SYSTEM RULES The Hudson River - Black River Regulating District has scheduled the fourth meeting to seek public input regarding revisions to its rules and regulations for the permit system at Great Sacandaga Lake. The meeting will be Wednesday, May 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the auditorium at Northville Central School, 131 South Third Street, Northville, New York (Please note that this is the location where the first two, but not the third, meetings were held). This meeting will be facilitated by Saratoga Associates and will deal with permit eligibility issues and permit fees.  When the agenda is set, the media will be notified and the agenda and meeting information will be posted on this website.
The fifth meeting, to be scheduled at a later time, will be facilitated by the Regulating District. After draft rules are prepared, the Regulating District plans to hold a second round of public meetings to again seek input during the summer months, so it will be more convenient for Great Sacandaga Lake permit holders to attend.  All of these meetings will be open to the public.
People who are not able to attend these meetings can download a “Permit System Rules Revision Public Comment Form” from the Regulating District’s website at http://www.hrbrrd.com/rulespubliccommentform.html and submit their recommendation.
