REGULATING DISTRICT PLANS ALL DAY BOARD MEETING The June 12, 2006 Board meeting of the Hudson River - Black River Regulating District is expected to be longer than most Board meetings.  “Due to the very full agenda, we anticipate that this Board meeting could last all day,” stated Glenn A. LaFave, Executive Director of the Regulating District.  “Normally, our Board meetings begin in the morning and end in the early afternoon.  This Board meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and could end at 5 p.m. or later.  To accommodate the public, we want to inform them in advance that the schedule of this meeting will be unique.  Beginning at 10 a.m., we plan to go through the usual agenda items.  From noon to 1 p.m., the Board will be in executive session and no business will be conducted.  At 1 p.m., regardless of where we are in the agenda, Saratoga Associates, our independent consultant for the permit system rules, will make a presentation to the Board on their options for permit system eligibility and fees.  Immediately following will be a presentation by Regulating District personnel on other permit rules, such as docks and boats.  After the presentation, the meeting will resume at the point where we left off.”
