HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE RESERVOIRS TO RISE OVER THE NEXT 3-5 DAYS

“Anticipated heavy rainfall will increase the elevation of the Great Sacandaga Lake, Indian Lake and Stillwater, Old Forge and Sixth Lake Reservoirs over the next few days,” stated Robert S. Foltan, Chief Engineer for the Hudson River-Black River Regulating District.

This precipitation over the Great Sacandaga Lake watershed is expected to increase the elevation of the reservoir approximately 1.6 feet over the next three to five days.
