REGULATING DISTRICT SCHEDULES PUBLIC MEETINGS FOR PERMIT SYSTEM RULES The Hudson River - Black River Regulating District has tentatively scheduled three summer meetings to gather public input regarding the rules for the permit system at Great Sacandaga Lake.  The meetings are tentatively scheduled for Monday, July 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Northville Central School; Saturday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Mayfield High School; and Wednesday, August 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Northville Central School.

The Regulating District plans to post the revised draft permit system rules on its website by June 22, 2007.  The Regulating District hopes to complete the rules revision process by the end of this year so the revised rules can be implemented in 2008, with the exception of permit system fees which have been capped until 2010.
